Deaf Bridges is building a bridge between the Deaf and hearing worlds through comedy. It tells stories about sign language interpreting, teaching Auslan, Deaf culture, and connecting the community with hearing people. Ben is a sign language interpreter and stand-up comedian. He tells jokes in English and in Auslan so you can see and hear him be funny at the same time.

In 2020 Ben was a RAW Comedy national finalist, where he performed a routine about sign language and growing up with a Deaf mum. Since then he has told more stories about being a sign language interpreter and growing up as a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), and now has a show that has toured to the following festivals and cities around Australia.

During the show Ben teaches elements of sign language to prepare for the Deaf revolution he is initiating.

If you ever wanted to learn, laugh and become fluent in Auslan then this show is guaranteed to help that dream. (This show is not fully Auslan interpreted.)

Wits End Bar will be serving locally crafted beer, cider and wine.
