Maffra Rotary Family Mardi Gras is a Carnival, run by the Rotary Club of Maffra.
This is a family friendly event with a lot of free children’s entertainment as well as musical entertainment. You will also find food and market stalls to browse through and enjoy the afternoon. At 6 pm, the Grand Parade starts, progressing through the Main Street. You will see colourful floats, walking groups, music, vintage vehicles, tractors and trucks. After the parade there is a presentation to the winning floats. The Fundraising Entrants, who have been raising funds for their organisations during the six weeks prior to the event, will also have a presentation of flowers and sashes.
Maffra Rotary Mardi Gras is a wonderful afternoon and evening out, full of activity for children, with food, music and crafts for everyone. Come and see for yourselves.
