Dennarque Estate is a heritage listed cool climate, 24 acre garden, which has a spectacular collection of significant trees originally planted under the direction of Charles Moore, from the Royal Sydney Botanical Gardens during 1880s. Dennarque has an important historical significance. It is one of the original eight houses built in Mt Wilson. It was established in 1879 by Edward Christopher Merewether. Dennarque is a fine and substantially intact example of a Victorian Georgian residence.
