Join Sharon Pippos for a special heritage event featuring the 45-minute documentary Hahndorf Echoes of the Past—a deeply personal exploration of the Prussian immigrants who fled religious persecution and arrived in South Australia in 1838 to build new lives. Filmed entirely in Hahndorf and featuring respected voices, including descendants of the original settlers, the documentary brings to life stories of faith, resilience, community, and cultural identity that continue to shape the region today. Through intimate interviews, historic imagery, and evocative locations, Echoes of the Past offers rare insight into the people behind the history and the enduring legacy they left. Keith Conlon is a guest presenter in the documentary.
