Operation information
Lonsdale Cruises
Lonsdale Cruises are located at Cunningham Quay in Lakes Entrance and offer a totally different cruising experience.
Cruises run for three hours, travelling over 28 kilometres. A scenic cruise bonus will be to sight the dolphins that frequent the Lake system from around May through to December.
During the winter and spring period you will often see baby and juvenile dolphins with the mothers and pods. During these times great care is exercised not to harass them.
Lonsdale Cruises will always try to locate pods of dolphin to see, but of course they are wild and at times are in areas beyond view and control, therefore they cannot guarantee sightings.
Expert commentary will be given by Captain Tony, a fourth generation seaman and a local character with an inimitable sense of humour and extensive knowledge of the Lakes area and its most interesting history.
Tea and coffee are available with freshly baked scones. There is also a range of beers, wines and soft drink on board at bar prices.
The Lonsdale is great for private functions – whether a corporate or a family occasion. Call to discuss your requirements and for a competitive quote for your charter.
