Held over nine days, the feature event of the festival is the tea cosy competition. Over 200 entries are on exhibition and include traditional, wild and whimsical tea cosies that have been crafted using the imagination and ingenuity of the craftspeople from around the world. Over 7000 people attend the festival over the nine day period, visiting from all over Australia and abroad.
In addition to the tea cosy exhibition, there are craft workshops and talks, artistic performances, gallery exhibitions, high tea, Devonshire teas, and the ever-popular Bendigo Bank Market Day. There’s lots for visitors to see and do during their time at the Fish Creek Tea Cosy Festival.
