The Overland was Australia’s first inter-capital passenger train servicing guests from Adelaide, Melbourne, and the regional towns in between for over 135 years, as she makes her way between the vibrant capital cities of South Australia and Victoria.
The much-loved daylight journey runs twice weekly in each direction at a relaxed pace, encouraging guests to sit back and enjoy the evolving countryside views. With a daylight service between two vibrant cities, enjoy a relaxing and unique journey, while savouring the creature comforts and romance of rail.
There is nothing quite like travelling by rail, and The Overland operates a day-long service running between Melbourne and Adelaide in both directions.
