Multi-award-winning Balloon Aloft has been ballooning in the Hunter Valley since 1980. Located just two hours north of Sydney and forty-five minutes from Newcastle, the Hunter Valley – Australia’s premier vineyard region – offers the perfect backdrop for the flight of a lifetime.
Hunter Valley balloon flights begin at sunrise and take in views of the picturesque wine regions of Pokolbin, Lovedale, Rothbury or Broke. Balloon flights last approximately one hour and are followed by a delicious gourmet breakfast and champagne celebration at the famous Peterson House winery and Restaurant.
Can cater the daily sunrise balloon flights for individuals, corporate groups or intimate VIP flights.

- A wheelchair accessible toilet / shower and change room is available.
- Wheelchair access to amusements and activities including boats and bush trails (includes tour rides, skyways, trolley cars, flying fox, amusement rides and boating).
- At least one wheelchair accessible parking space with wheelchair accessible signage clearly displayed (International standards are 3200mm wide x 2500 mm high).
- Wheelchair accessible transport options available in the general vicinity (provide information on name of the operator, phone and website link to individual providers for private vehicles, community transport train, mini vans, hire cars, buses, taxis, ferry, tram, light rail etc in their access statement).

Balloon Aloft Hunter Valley
In 1980, Balloon Aloft offered the very first passenger balloon flights in Australia and over 40 years later are still delivering the highest quality balloon flights and service.
Balloon Aloft sunrise flights depart daily and take in spectacular views from some of Australia’s most scenic locations including the Hunter Valley.
All flights conclude with a traditional champagne celebration and gourmet breakfast.
Balloon Aloft gift vouchers are available for purchase and can be open-dated and can be used at any of the New South Wales locations for that extra flexibility.
