The Lake Eyre Tour and Flight Three Day Four Wheel Drive tour departs from Adelaide or Broken Hill. Over the three day/ two night tour you will experience a Lake Eyre flight, a lake shore visit by four wheel drive, visit a wetlands birds area and take a lake shore walk.

You will also see the Old Ghan Railway, Farina ghost town, Marree, Leigh Creek, Copley, Lake Eyre National Park and the Flinders Ranges. Travel the Oodnadatta and Birdsville Tracks and learn about Tom Kruse the Outback Mailman from “Back of Beyond”.

Tour price includes all meals, accommodation, transport and one and a half hour scenic flight over Lake Eyre.

Lake Eyre

Our Lake Eyre tours include an optional spectacular 2 hour flight over Lake Eyre, (or extension options available – please ask ) to fly over the optimal site for bird sighting, currently being the northern extreme of the lake and the Warburton & Macumba Rivers and southern Simpson Desert region of Lake Eyre North. The extended flight will view the Warburton River, Warburton Groove (major inflow) and Tirari Desert and depart from William Creek. View also Elliot Price Conservation Park, (Donald) Campbell Point, Jackboot, Halligan & Belt Bays, Lake Eyre South, major islands & landmarks. Learn of the Marree Man giant sculpture.
