Little Sparks: Where little sparks ignite big wonder

Back by popular demand, SparkLab is turning the spotlight to our littlest scientists again – for a limited time only!

Designed for curious 3–5 year olds, we invite children and their carers to explore science through play, hands-on discovery, and age-appropriate activities.

Take your time exploring SparkLab’s interactive exhibits with your little ones, discover something new at the Science Bar, or explore the wonders of earth and space at our Science on a Sphere. With gentle experiments, sensory exploration, and plenty of space to imagine, spark their curiosity in a fun and welcoming environment—perfect for preschoolers taking their very first steps into science.

A morning of discovery, wonder, and play. Book your tickets at your preferred entry time from the available dates.

Maker Space, general exhibits and additional activities will be open to explore for the duration of the Little Sparks morning.

Adapted Science Bar and Science on a Sphere facilitated programs tailored for younger learners.

Additional props, books, step stools and pram parking to enhance the experience.

A unique opportunity for families with under 5s to start their journey with SparkLab and Queensland Museum.
