Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird World is a perfect day out for the whole family. Experience the guided interactive tours amongst 600 native and exotic birds in Maleny Bird World – most of them rehomed or rescues, donated to the sanctuary.
Enjoy a Devonshire Tea or picnic from our onsite café with panoramic views across the iconic Glass House Mountains all the way to Brisbane.
The Farm Friends Petting Zoo and Ducks and Friends areas are a great way to connect with nature and loveable miniature animals!

Family Explorer Package
Family pass (2x adults 2x children) tickets to our beautiful Garden, Farm Friends, including an Aviary Tour, 2x adult / 2x kids picnic boxes, 4x bottles of water or fruit poppers and buggy hire (1 hour). Please look at our online menu to see picnic box options.
Explore the lush and expansive gardens and come and meet our colourful family of birds, as well as our Farm Friends and new Fairy Mushroom exhibit.

- A step free main entrance to the building and/or reception area (includes ramps or slopes with a maximum gradient of 1:14, otherwise are too steep for wheelchairs)
- Step free access to restaurant, lounge and bar
- Doorways which are easy to open and have lever handles (doorways 850mm or wider when open and not heavy).
- An accessible public toilet which is unlocked.
- A wheelchair accessible toilet / shower and change room is available.
- Wheelchair access to amusements and activities including boats and bush trails (includes tour rides, skyways, trolley cars, flying fox, amusement rides and boating).
- At least one wheelchair accessible parking space with wheelchair accessible signage clearly displayed (International standards are 3200mm wide x 2500 mm high).
Allergies and intolerances
Caters for people with allergies and intolerances.
- Modify their cooking and cleaning practices to cater for people with food allergies or chemical intolerances (could include menus with meals free from: nuts, dairy, seafood, eggs, gluten etc).
- Staff are trained to respond to allergic reactions.
