Set above a steep coral rubble beach, the Maureen’s Cove camping area is shaded by pandanus palms and beach gardenias. It’s spacious and ideal for groups, with plenty of room to unwind. After a day of exploring, settle in and soak up the views of the sparkling turquoise waters.
Note: National Park camping permits are required.
Grab your snorkel or diving gear and explore the fringing reefs along both the eastern and western edges of the cove. Discover bommies that rise from 12–15 metres to just below the surface, creating perfect conditions for spotting marine life. Gullies, shallow caves, and schools of medium-sized reef fish make every dive or snorkel session memorable.
