Wallabies, Rocks and Copper
Get ready to take a drive back through time. Enjoy breathtaking views of Wilpena Pound and Bunyeroo Valley as you make your way to Bunyeroo Gorge. From there, you’ll continue on into Brachina Gorge where your guide will show you some of the oldest fossils on Earth. As you meander through the impressive rock formations in the gorges, keep a watchful eye out for the elusive yellow-footed rock wallabies. Lunch will be at the North Blinman Hotel (the pub pies are particularly good!), followed by a tour underground in the heritage Blinman Mine. After, there will be time to relax and have a coffee before you return to Rawnsley via Wadna – an Aboriginal culture and art shop. There is also the opportunity to see the rock formation, the Great Wall of China on the drive home.
