Charles Reuben Estate Vineyard, Distillery and Accommodation is located at Tea Tree in Tasmania’s Coal River Valley wine region. Tea Tree is a five-minute drive northwest of Richmond (8 km) and a 30-minute drive north of Hobart (35 km).
The ‘Pinot Cottage’ is a secluded, self-contained timber cottage on the vineyard with two bedrooms, a spa, and a wood fire. The open-plan lounge and dining area include a fully equipped European kitchen. The lounge room has a beautiful view over some of the vineyard and contains a wood fire.
Established in 1990, the four-hectare/ten-acre Charles Reuben Estate has plantings of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling in addition to other Bordeaux varieties.
Since 2015 Charles Reuben Estate also grows high-quality Lavender varieties for oil production and culinary use.
In April 2019 the family business also added a specialised brandy distillery. We produce the finest European style small batch fruit brandies as well as Cognac style aged brandy (available since 2021). We also have a selection of fruit brandies available including cherry, apricot, raspberry and blood orange. In addition, we have several Gins and an un-aged grape Brandy that we call Tisco.

Pinot Cottage
Charles Reuben Estate vineyard and distillery offers a lovely quiet cottage among the vines for your holiday stay. The “Pinot Cottage” is just under 100 square metres with a mezzanine master bedroom and open plan living.
The “Pinot Cottage” has two bedrooms and can sleep up to five guests. A fully equipped European kitchen is part of the open plan lounge and dining area. There is a wood fire for relaxing comfort in the colder months.
The quiet and secluded position in the country ensures relaxation and enjoyment at its best. The bathroom has a spa, under-floor heating and separate “no-step” shower. Television, Netflix, CD and DVD/Blu-ray are also available. We also offer free Wi-Fi.
