For nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts, the Raymond Island Koala Trail is the perfect place to visit and spot wild koalas in their natural habitat.
Raymond Island is in the Gippsland Lakes opposite the village of Paynesville. Follow the signs to the car park in Paynesville, then take a short walk to the Raymond Island ferry which is free for foot passengers. On arrival, visitors will see directions and tips to enjoy this nature-based experience.
The Koala Trail is an easy 2km walk and there are three extra loops to explore further.
