The Sapphire Coast Orchid Club’s Winter Show is a most spectacular orchid show and will be held at Twyford Hall Merimbula on the NSW far South Coast. This annual event attracts growers from all over the far south coast vying for the coveted awards.
Cymbidium orchids are at their best at this time of the year, and visitors can see the state of the art blooms on show. Along with the rapidly expanding Australian native orchid section, there are many other exotic varieties of orchids on show. Potting demonstrations and tips on orchid culture will be given by some of the South Coast’s top orchid growers.
There is a sales table where members sell excess plants, this provides an opportunity for both the enthusiast as well as the public to purchase quality plants at very reasonable prices. Entry is free. For more information go to the web site.
