Young Tasmania Sings – Night 2
A celebration of young voices – Night 2
Experience the joy and energy of young voices coming together in Young Tasmania Sings, our annual combined choirs spectacular.
Young performers from school and community youth choirs across the state come together in a spirited, cooperative celebration of choral music, led by guest conductor Lachlan Massey and joined onstage by the Tasmanian Youth Orchestra.
Young Tasmania Sings is a unique non-competitive event that:
Brings together choirs from all school systems alongside community youth choirs
Offers over 400 singers aged 10–14 the chance to learn and perform under the guidance of a visiting expert director
Creates the rare opportunity for young voices to sing with a full orchestra as an integral part of the program
Celebrates the future of choral singing through performances by a range of guest ensembles
Join in for an uplifting night of collaboration, community, and the unmistakable sound of young Tasmanians singing as one.
