Suncorp Stadium provides Brisbane and south-east Queensland with a 52,500 plus seat capacity, state-of-the-art, world-class stadium able to accommodate a range of uses.

Suncorp Stadium hosts Rugby League home games for the Brisbane Broncos and the Dolphins in the NRL and WNRL competitions along with annual State of Origin matches, the NRL Magic Round and International Test Matches including finals matches in the 2026 Rugby League World Cup.

Rugby Union is held at the venue with the home team Queensland Reds competing in the Super Rugby competition and International Tests featuring the Wallabies and Wallaroos with the venue also hosting 10 games in the 2027 Rugby World Cup.

Football (Soccer) is also played at Suncorp Stadium with the Brisbane Roar holding their home matches for the A-League competition as well as the national Matildas and Socceroos teams playing games at the venue.

Throughout the year, mostly across the summer season, the venue concerts, many of which are international, highly acclaimed artists with recent visits from legends like Paul McCartney, P!nk, Ed Sheeran, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Foo Fighters.

Boxing and Extreme Sports have been held at the venue with highlights including the Horn v Mundine and Horn v Pacquiao boxing bouts and the Nitro Circus and Nitro World games events.
