The Tarago Medieval Faire is a fantastic day of medieval fun for the whole family. Come along and see Australia’s only Historical Solid Lance joust where knights in full armour charge at each other and try to break solid pine lances with real steel tips! You may have seen jousting before, but doubt you’ve seen it done this way!

And if that’s not enough, you won’t want to miss the fabulous array of additional attractions. Come see horse archers take on Greek soldiers in combat, a mass melee battle, armoured combatants battle it out with swords and axes, medieval dancers and musicians, all whilst you sip on a mead or craft beer in their fully equipped medieval tavern!

Their village of historical camps from across history is guaranteed to have something of interest between shows! Come learn about everything from Roman life to blacksmithing to medieval medicine! There will also be a full array of vendors in our medieval market, so you can pick up that perfect fur or sword to finish your kit or go home with hand cast bronze or new books for the library.
