The Tarago Medieval Faire is a fantastic day of medieval fun for the whole family. Come along and see Australia’s only Historical Solid Lance joust where knights in full armour charge at each other to try and break solid pine lances with real steel tips! You may have seen jousting before, but they doubt you’ve seen it done this way!

The Faire will also host the inaugural Australian Harnessfechtin Championships, where armoured knights will display their skill on the ground using weapons like swords, spears and pollaxes to determine who will be Australia’s first champion.

And if that’s not enough, you won’t want to miss the fabulous array of events. Come see horse archers take on Greek soldiers in combat, a mass melee battle, medieval dancers and musicians, all whilst you sip on a mead or craft beer in their fully equipped medieval tavern!

Their village of camps from across history is guaranteed to have something of interest between shows! Come learn everything from Roman life to blacksmithing to medieval medicine! There will also be a full array of vendors in their medieval market, so you can pick up that perfect fur or sword to finish your kit, or go home with hand cast bronze or new books for the library.

So much packed into a single day, its hard-to-get better value from an event.
