The Frames luxury accommodation (adults only) offers three opulent and private retreats, overlooking the Murray River in the Riverland, South Australia. Designed to help couples rejuvenate and relax, each retreat has its own private pool, spa and balcony with unobstructed views of the Murray River.
Fully self contained, the retreats are large, open and offer total privacy both inside and outdoors. They exhibit the finest fit-outs and appointments – from the bed and linen, to appliances and the many and varied relaxation areas including the poolside outdoor kitchens.
Adding to the relaxation experience, the retreats offer a spa bath, sauna and large rain-showes. The Frames has redefined expectations of luxury and created a sensory wonderland that works its magic on all who stay.
The Frames also offers exclusive and private experiences, including a Sunset Gondola Cruise, Wetland & Wildlife Safari, Flavour Safari and Calperum Station Eco-Cultural Tour.
In-retreat dining options include a personal chef to cook a 3 course meal, supplied gourmet meals for guests to heat up and magnificent BBQ packs. Ask us about tailoring a package that suits you.
The Frames is a 3 hour drive from Adelaide and a 1.5 hour drive from Mildura (Victoria).

Collage
A luxury retreat designed to accommodate one or two couples (upto 4 people). Collage sets new standards for shared ultra-luxury experiences. Unlike traditional accommodation, both bedrooms are identical – in size, amenities, the ensuite bathrooms, and the views. Both bedrooms feature king-size electric beds, which include a tilt function and a variety of massage options.
Separating the bedrooms and ensuites is a spacious wet area featuring a 6-person indoor hydro-therapy spa and smart TV.
A fully equipped kitchen is the feature of the living space that opens out onto a private balcony, overlooking the Murray River.
Relax in the courtyard beside the heated outdoor lap pool, a rain-shower waterfall at one end creates an ambient atmosphere when paired with the underwater mood lighting. Enjoy outdoor dining around the unique round table BBQ with a heated stone for cooking in the center.
Please note: If you are only booking 2 people (1 couple), this allows the use of one bedroom and one bathroom. An additional cost will apply if you use the other bedroom and bathroom.
Montage
A luxury retreat perfectly designed for a couple (2 people). Montage is large, open, and full of natural light. This retreat is also full of surprises making it the ultimate romantic retreat.
The bedroom is fitted with a king-size bed, which includes an electric tilt lift and a variety of massaging options. The bathroom is large and beautifully appointed, the rain showers and high-quality fittings result in a sumptuous setting.

Outdoor living is easy with a large, circular hydra-therapy spa, infrared sauna, outdoor bath and a heated pool that offers sublime views over the Murray River. Montage redefines indoor-outdoor ultra-luxury. The outdoor kitchen with BBQ and bar fridge, combined with the pool and spa facilities, creates a sense of resort living with complete privacy.
Pastiche
A luxury retreat perfectly designed for a couple (2 people). Pastiche is our only retreat where the bedroom opens up onto the balcony and overlooks the Murray River. With electric blinds, it is easy to lazily wake up to the sun rising over the river from your sumptuous king bed. The king bed features an electric tilt and massage function, so you can enjoy a morning massage as well.
Unique to Pastiche is a sunken spa bath with a built-in waterfall feature, as well as an infrared sauna. The shower is situated to give spectacular views overlooking the river and is complete with privacy blinds, of course.
The private outdoor space is equipped with an outdoor kitchen, including a BBQ and bar fridge, and a heated pool offering a different view over the Murray River.
