The Freedom Experience offers an unforgettable adventure for old vine wine enthusiasts seeking a deep dive into the Barossa region.
Nestled on the grounds of one of Barossa’s earliest German settlements, Langmeil Winery provides the perfect backdrop for this immersive 2 to 3-hour tour.
Your journey begins with an overview of the region’s geography, settlement history, and agricultural heritage. Next, you’ll explore viticulture with a visit to what is believed to be the world’s oldest surviving Shiraz vineyard. After admiring the ancient vines and discussing vineyard practices, we’ll shift our focus to the winemaking process, enriching your appreciation for the tasting experience ahead. Finally, you’ll retreat to the intimate ambiance of the “Freedom Cellar,” where you can savour samples from our Old Vine Garden Collection while enjoying captivating stories.
