Nestled high above Middle River and Snelling Beach, the Grass Tree offers mesmerising 180+ degree views of sea and sky, creature comforts and a beautiful garden.
Dine inside or outdoors, or relax by the wood fire. Under the veranda, cook on the barbecue and enjoy a meal outdoors, while the kids play in the generous garden. Big dining tables indoors and out seat 10-12 people each, and our well-provisioned kitchen has a coffee machine and everything you need to cook up a feast with family and friends.
Each cosily decorated bedroom offers comfortable quality linen, the master with a queen bed and en suite. The second bedroom has a double bed, trundle and upper single bunk. Upstairs has a 3rd bathroom with a bath and views, another queen bedroom and a kids’ room with two single beds.
There are reverse-cycle air-conditioners for both floors, fans and column heaters in bedrooms, and a wood stove in the lounge. Three bathrooms and a full laundry make life easy. A new solar battery system provides reliable backup during any outages.
Visit Snelling Beach or dine at the Enchanted Fig Tree Restaurant (2 minutes away), drive to nearby Stokes Bay or Western River Cove, hike Ravine des Cassoars, or visit Flinders Chase’s iconic Admiral’s Arch and Remarkable Rocks.
