On this half day morning tour, you will enjoy visiting many of the remaining relics and reminders from Darwin’s involvement in World War II. A stop at the Darwin Military Museum or Aviation Museum is included and here you can wander the displays that showcase Australia and especially Darwin during the time of war.
At many of the stops you will have the opportunity to walk around and explore, or listen to the stories which are part of Australia’s history and brought back to life, told by your guide. You’ll see where the wharf was first bombed, remnants of the submarine boom cable, anti aircraft gun site, bullet holes left over from an attack by a Japanese ‘Zero’ plus much more.

You will see visible reminders and relics left behind after the Japanese bombing of Darwin during World War II. During this time, in 1942, Darwin was devastated, and Australia was seriously threatened.

Hop on and off three times at Darwin city sites including the museum. There are many great photo opportunities along the way.
