Explore some of Werribee’s most iconic street art murals with Wyndham City’s new self-guided trail and free audio tour.
Starting at Wyndham Cultural Centre and finishing at Kelly Park, the one kilometre walking tour through the city centre will take you approximately 60 minutes, one-way with time for a coffee or grazing pit stop.
The trail takes in works by Ash Keating, known for his large-scale murals created with paint-filled fire extinguishers, the internationally renowned Tom Gerrard, Ghost Patrol, Minna Leunig and Makatron.
At each stop, you can listen to the artist talk about their work – no apps required. All you need is your mobile phone and your headphones if you have them.
The route also doubles as a brunching trail, with excellent cafes, coffee and bars along the way. It’s a great way to experience the city centre on foot, while social distancing.
Allow time for a detour to Wyndham Park. With its huge playgrounds, river walking trail, rolling lawns and nature play fun – this massive park is a must if you’ve got kids on board.
