Yarra Valley Dairy offers a delicious cheese experience. You can enjoy some of the finest Australian cheeses at their authentic Farmgate Cheese Shop, in the centre of a picturesque dairy farm in the heart of the Yarra Valley.
The selection of their handmade cheeses pays homage to some of France and Italy’s soft farmhouse cheese styles. This delicious array is made from both goat and cow’s milk provided by the surrounding farms.
Choose from their signature marinated cheese, steeped in quality olive oil and infused with thyme and bay leaves or their wonderful white mould or fresh curd-style cheeses. Popular cheeses from other prominent Australian producers are also available at the wonderful Farmgate cheese store and café.
With a menu filled with cheese, from gourmet toasties, to melted cheese hotpots and loaded cheese platters, there is something for every cheese lover. Tastings and sales of all cheeses are available along with fine wines from small single vineyards.
The Dairy also offers some of the best regional produce for purchase, showcasing just how rich the Yarra Valley region is. At Yarra Valley Dairy, you can enjoy the pleasure of good food and wine along with beautiful views of the surrounding valley, endless vineyards and vast farmlands.
