Get ready for a day of Culture, lifestyle, art, adventure, nature, produce and wildlife. As we leave no stone unturned.

We’ll take you on a city loop tour around Hobart’s gorgeous attractions and beautiful landmarks before heading up to Hobart’s spectacular backdrop, Kunanyi (Mt. Wellington). Then it’s on to Salamanca Market (Saturday only). This world-class market offers the best of Tassie culture and produce.

After exploring Salamanca Markets, we make our way to the iconic township of Richmond, the home to Australia’s oldest bridge and Catholic Church. Richmond is steeped in convict history, sandstone and colonial buildings. We will then stop at Wicked Cheese for a free tasting on the way back.

The afternoon presents two options:
1) Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to hand feed kangaroos and other Tasmanian and Australian wildlife, including Tasmanian Devils. Entry not included

Itinerary highlights

Hobart city loop tour

Whilst the streets are quiet, we will take you on a city highlights tour around the city streets showcasing Hobart’s gorgeous colonial era buildings and beautiful landmarks.

Kunanyi / Mount Wellington

After the city loop tour, it is off to Hobart’s spectacular backdrop, Kunanyi (Mt. Wellington). Breathe in the famous pristine Tasmanian air as we drive up the 1272m to the pinnacle where you will be greeted by the very best view of Hobart and surrounds. A prime opportunity for that perfect, Instagram-worthy selfie!

If the Mountain is clouded over and raining, we will take you to either Mt
Nelson or Rosny Hill lookouts as a substitute.

Salamanca Markets

You would have no doubt worked up an appetite, so it is now time for Salamanca Market (Saturday only). We will have 90 minutes to wander around this world class market, soaking up the best of Tassie culture – art, produce, buskers, souvenirs, beverages and much more!

Richmond

Now we make our way to Richmond. An iconic township steeped in convict history, sandstone and colonial buildings. Richmond is home to Australia’s oldest bridge and Catholic church.

Wicked Cheese tasting

After soaking up the old-town atmosphere in Richmond, we will stop in at The Wicked Cheese Company for a free cheese tasting to sample some of the finest cheeses Tasmania has to offer.

Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary

Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary provides a once in a lifetime opportunity where you can hand feed kangaroos and get up close and personal with all the unique Tasmanian and Australian wildlife, including the famous Tasmanian Devil – an absolute highlight (even for a local!
