Judbury Market Held on the second Sunday of each month from September to May, the Judbury Market is one of the Huon Valley’s hidden gems — a relaxed, family-friendly event nestled beside the Huon River at Calvert Park.
Just a scenic 15-minute drive from Huonville, the market offers a vibrant mix of artisan stalls, Tasmanian woodcrafts, homemade goods, and delicious food and beverages. Popular favorites include Devonshire tea, Judbury burgers, Bruny Island oysters, tempura mushrooms, and Dutch Olliebollen.
Visitors can picnic under the trees, enjoy live music, or relax on the deck overlooking the river. Children love the playground’s giant treehouses, and nature lovers can explore the riverside walking track.
The market is coordinated by Judbury Action Group (JAG) and reflects the area’s welcoming, rural character. Whether you’re browsing for local treasures, catching up with neighbours, or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings, the Judbury Market is a beautiful way to spend your Sunday.
