Bakers Walking Company offers a full day guided traverse combining private estate tracks with Narawntapu National Park on Tasmania’s north west coast. This 20 kilometre walk is designed for fit walkers seeking a longer and more immersive experience in nature.
Beginning on private coastal land, the walk moves into the national park across open grasslands, lagoons, bushland and beach sections. Led by local Tasmanian guides, the day follows a steady pace over approximately 10 hours, with time to rest, explore and take in the surroundings.
Guests move through wildlife rich areas with regular sightings of kangaroos, wombats and birdlife. A locally sourced picnic lunch is included and enjoyed in a remote setting. This is a physically demanding, full day experience suited to those comfortable spending extended time on foot.

Bakers Walking Company
Bakers Walking Company offers private guided walking experiences on a 1,137 acre wilderness estate on Tasmania’s north west coast, beside Narawntapu National Park. The estate spans twice the size of Monaco and gives guests access to a rare network of private walking tracks far from public crowds.
Guests explore coastal wilderness shared with kangaroos, wombats, wallabies and more than 120 native species. Experiences are led by local Tasmanian guides and shaped by the pace and interests of the group, creating a more personal and immersive connection to the landscape.
Bakers Walking Company reflects a growing style of tourism that allows guests to experience the bush in a real and meaningful way, then return to warmth, comfort and thoughtful hospitality.
