Mitchell Grass Retreat is a luxury glamping retreat based in Longreach, Outback, Queensland. Take in stunning views from your canvas tent, complete with air conditioning, an ensuite bathroom and a private outdoor deck.

Mitchell Grass Retreat brings a new accommodation experience to Longreach that captures the essence of the Outback. The luxury en suite Glamping Tents will appeal to the discerning visitor seeking an authentic outback adventure.

Swim in the saltwater pool and relax around the evening fire pit under a starry night sky. The sense of freedom will be heightened as you gaze out to the surrounding Mitchell Grass Plains.

Facilities include Kitchenette with Delonghi appliances, refrigerator, microwave and coffee plunger; King beds or long single beds with luxury linen and pillows; Adventure Swags for the kids; ensuite with rainwater shower and either an indoor (Gidyea Tent) or outdoor bath (Mulga Tent) and Dindi Naturals toiletries; bamboo remote control ceiling fan; air conditioning; private deck and barbecue; complimentary Wi-Fi. Nibbles platters and barbecue packs are available for purchase.

The new fully licensed, accessible function centre has been affectionately named The Little Tin Shed. The fully air-conditioned, custom designed facility can seat up to 60 guests! Strategically located to capture stunning sunsets, it’s a popular venue for planned sunset happy hours, group dinners, private functions, wellness retreats, meeting break-out sessions and more.
