Held annually in May, the Longreach Show has been entertaining the Central West for more than 130 years & runs in conjunction with the Queensland state sheep show.
In 2026 Queensland Opera will be conducting the festival of Outback Opera, they will be in Longreach in late May, which coincides with the Longreach Show weekend
With a focus of recognising agricultural roots and incorporating the talents of the community, the Longreach Show always aims to host an enjoyable event for all ages.
