After a warm welcome by their experienced crew, take your seat on the top deck of the Longreach Explorer ready to capture 360-degree sweeping river and floodplain views. Their Skipper will enthral you with captivating stories about the river, its wildlife and Indigenous heritage. See the curious Emmott’s short-necked turtles at sunset bend.
Purchase an icy cold drink from the licensed bar to pair with complementary savoury nibbles. As the vibrant sunset colours fade into starlight, they dock at Smithy’s Outback Dinner and Show. Relax under the stars with table-service dining featuring camp-oven themed modern cuisine. Live on stage, the talented musical performer will entertain you with their songs and stories.
Pickup times are from 4pm, and the experience lasts approximately 4.5 hours. This tour operates 6 days a week from15 April – 15 October 2025.
