The drive west from Coffs Harbour on Coramba Road will start your journey into the Orara Valley. From rolling green pastures and scenic countryside you will be surrounded by nature. Mount Browne Road and Upper Orara Road will awaken your senses.
Coramba is in a lush pocket of the Coffs Harbour Hinterland and is loaded with unique character and historical roots.
Nana Glen is a small village that is also inland north-west of Coffs Harbour. Nana Glen takes its name from the Gumbaynggirr word, Ngarla, meaning two-tailed lizard. The newly installed timber sculpture ‘Two Tails’ by local artist Ian Watson is located at the Idle In Cafe and depicts the rare and mysterious two-tailed lizard of Nana Glen.
Australia loves its “big” things, and in Glenreagh they have theirs right in the middle of town. Have your photo taken with the Golden Dog, the beloved supersized smiling Dingo.
You will then Tour back along Bucca Road through the Coffs Harbour Hinterland to Sealy Lookout which is located within the ecotourism accredited Bruxner Park Flora Reserve in Orara East State Forest and is home to the award-winning Forest Sky Pier. At 310 metres above sea level the views are just breathtaking!
