This is a spectacular 15km walk with views of the Barossa Valley, walking through the great Australian bush with iconic flora & fauna, picnic on local Barossa produce and taste boutique Barossa wines.
Join Walk Local on this fully escorted day walk. Guests will be driven to the starting point in the wine area of Pewsey Vale where we walk along gravel tracks past vineyards, farmlands and forests before entering the Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park.
The walking trails within this park pass through a variety of landscapes including creeks, rocky outcrops, areas of low forest, scrub and open grassland. The park has panoramic views across the ranges to the Barossa Valley, stopping here for morning tea.
We leave the Conservation Park we wind our way down the hills with glorious views over the Barossa Valley stopping at Bethany for our picnic lunch enjoying famous Barossa produce.
After lunch we walk to Bethany Wines and Turkey Flat vineyard for wine tastings.
