Itinerary highlights
The Rymill Park lake and island
Designed in 1958 and built in the early 1960’s, the lake was the centrepiece of the City Council’s landscaping of this Park. It has remained a popular spot for picnics and wedding photography
Rose garden and wooden pergola
At the eastern end of the Park a huge collection of roses will be in full bloom.
Quentin Kenihan Inclusive Playspace
The Rymill Park playground had a huge makeover in 2020, with play equipment designed for enjoyment of all children including those with disability.
O-Bahn tunnel entrance and exit
Learn about the controversial 2017 project that laid a huge covered trench through this Park, to improve bus scheduling.

Adelaide Park Lands Walking Tours
Guided Walks to explore little-known nooks and crannies of Adelaide’s greatest treasure: the unique open spaces of its Park Lands.
Adelaide is the only city in the world garlanded by Park Lands. In effect the city is built inside a park, and each part of the Park has its own unique features, heritage, and current usage.
Guided Walks are led by trained Tour leaders and can take between 90 minutes and two hours depending upon the location.
