The Leven River is a tidal river in the North Central Coast of Tasmania, situated in Ulverstone only 15 minutes from Devonport where the Spirit of Tasmania docks and only 25 minutes from Burnie.

The relaxing tranquility of the river and its environment are a must to come and see. the river has a very interesting connection to the settlement of the region extending out to the settlement of Victoria and supporting supply’s to the various wars of the world.
Enriched with history stories along with beautiful natural sanctuary features and wildlife. Endemic Azure Kingfisher may be sighted along with chance to see the white belly sea eagle. Well worth the cruise to try and spot one of these amazing birds of the estuary.
