Mountain View Country Inn also offers wonderful on site dining in the licenced Settler’s Restaurant. Open for dinner service (check seasonal hours), the restaurant has an 1800’s theme with timber furniture, large stone fireplace and early settler’s memorabilia. Large windows and a decked outdoor area give diners further opportunity to soak up the mountain views.
The Inn is an ideal base for exploring the north and northwest of Tasmania. Take a day trip to magnificent Cradle Mountain or plan a visit to the limestone caves at Mole Creek. Liffey Falls are within easy driving distance and the Great Western Tiers provide excellent bushwalking opportunities. Or perhaps take a walk through the streets of Deloraine and enjoy the antique shops, galleries and cafes.
