Itinerary highlights
Exploring Tasmania's deep southwest wilderness at kayaking pace
Exploring at the gentle pace of kayaking is the best way to experience this watery wilderness. Four major rivers and numerous creeks weave their way through gorges and along open plains before ultimately merging with the Southern Ocean. Gaze in wonder at golden-green ridges rising steeply from sandy-white quartzite coves, and small islands that appear to float on the dark and reflective water.
