Explore the world of dance through energetic warm-ups, creative movement exercises, and storytelling inspired by The Australian Ballet.
Learn about the body, discover new ways to move, and have plenty of fun along the way. No dance experience is required.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll collaborate with others to create an original dance piece to share with family and friends. Expect to move, imagine, and create.
On the final day, participants will perform their new dance, followed by a special performance from The Australian Ballet Education and Outreach Team.
Age Groups: There are two primary aged groups. Grades 3 to 4 and Grade 5 to 6. Participants attend each of the 4 days.
These workshops are part of Fam Bam Live – the exciting children’s festival at Wyndham Cultural Centre. Across three fun-filled weeks, Wyndham Cultural Centre will come alive with sensational performances, hands-on workshops, and plenty of family fun.
